Keita is a human teenager who ends up summoning Maki. He is on the track team, but is a very slow runner.

Miki is another candidate to be the next demon queen. She tries to get in Maki's way.

Hara sempai is the vice president of the student council. She has a crush on Hayami sempai.

Keita’s classmate and childhood friend. Hoping to make some money off her family’s old belongings, she sells Keita items that happen to be possessed by supernatural beings.

Sheeta is an angel determined to rid Maki from the human world & to save Keita's soul.

Pazu is a wind spirit & one of the twelve spirits that Maki can summon.

Tarot is the spirit of dragons. He was summoned alongside Tarte to save Keita from Sheeta.

Tarte is the spirit of love, who is also known as Moon Demon Astarte. She was summoned alongside Tarot.

Samurai-spirit Levi is based upon the biblical creature Leviathan. Levi has a dragon-like tail and travel around as a masterless, wandering samurai.
